In the Kitchen Where We Belong

On this week’s episode, we talk cooking at home. Truth is, my mom never really wanted me in the kitchen. It was small and with a house full of people running in and out, she probably just wanted me out the way. However, in retrospect, I wish we would have spent time together in that space. I would have loved to learn those recipes by heart, working at her side. If I could have developed her level of patience, it definitely would help me now with my sweet potato pies. This week, listen as Ashley and Marcy share their memories of being in the kitchen as children, how they’ve returned as adults, and whether or not the kitchen is where we belong.
